Forlan keen on return to EPL

MADRID (AFP) Atletico Madrids Uruguayan star Diego Forlan, voted the best player at the World Cup, said he is ready to return to the English Premiership if the right offer comes along. The time I spent in England was wonderful, I enjoyed it very much and if I had the chance to go back, I would look into it, he told the Spanish sports daily Marca published Tuesday. If a good offer comes along, which hasnt happened, you can decide to take it or leave it, and I would consider it... I came to Europe leaving my home and leaving everything, so Im not attached to a team in that sense. The striker left Manchester United - where he had two inconsistent seasons - in 2004 for Villarreal, who then sold him to Atletico in 2007 for 21 million euros. He has since been an integral part of the Atletico side, which won the UEFA Europa League last season with the Uruguayan scoring both goals in the clubs 2-1 defeat of English side Fulham in the final. He has twice won the award as the Spanish Primera Ligas top scorer and twice won the European Golden Boot. The 31-year-old was also awarded the Golden Ball as the best player of the 2010 World Cup after grabbing five goals in tournament, in which his country finished in fourth place.
