PESHAWAR Keeping in view the security situation after the NATO incursion into Pakistan, the NATO supply remained suspended for sixth consecutive day on Tuesday while 200 NATO tankers and containers are waiting for security clearance to cross the Pak-Afghan border. Sources said that the security forcers and Khasadars stand alert to thwart any untoward incident. Security forces are providing security to the stranded containers packed with NATO supplies. The owners of the containers were of the view that they are satisfied with the security arrangements as no untoward incident took place during the last four days. They demanded of the government to decide the matter as early as possible as they are facing business losses. Pakistan last week had suspended the supply line of NATO forces stationed in Afghanistan after the martyrdom of Pak security forces in the incident of shelling from helicopters of the allied forces. A high-level team of Pakistan Army has been sent to Afghanistan to probe the violations of Pakistani airspace by NATO copters. The Pak team is probing the incident in cooperation with NATO officials. It is worth mentioning here that Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has also appraised NATO Secretary Genera Anders Fogh Rasmussen of the violation of Pakistani airspace, however, the drone attacks are still continuing in the tribal belt.
