LAHORE - The Punjab government is planning to shift hazardous industries from urban areas to a safe place in order to avoid accidents leading to loss of precious lives working in Lahore and alongside. These industries will be shifted to Sundar Industrial Estate so as to avoid any unwanted incident in future This was stated by the Chairman Punjab Industrial Estates Development Company (PIEMDC) SM Tanveer while talking to journalists after PIE board of directors meeting held here. The PIE Chairman informed that it has acquired 50 acres of land additional land in Sundar Industrial Estate in this regard.Talking about organisation of Sundar Industrial Estate, he informed that 220 industrial units have come into production and 36 industrial units are near to production, while buildings of 201 industrial units are under construction
