ISLAMABAD – Shamoon Gill has been appointed as a minority member of Rawalpindi District Baitul Maal.
Chairman Baitul Maal Rawalpindi Raja Arshad Mehmood in this regard issued notification to Shamoon Gill. Gill, former member of the Cantonment Board Rawalpindi, thanked the Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif for reposing confidence in him. He pledged that he would try his level best to come up to the expectation of chairman Baitul Maal and solve the minorities’ problems at local level.
He appreciated Raja Arshad for distributing Baitul Maal funds among the needy people. He said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has always helped the minority community. He assured Mian Nawaz Sharif that in the general elections the minorities in Rawalpindi district would vote for the PML-N candidates.
