LAHORE – The Society for the Protection of the Rights of the Child (Sparc) has launched a campaign to seek recommendations from various stakeholders for tackling child labour in the light of 18th amendment.

The series of activities included group and consultative discussions with key stakeholders in Sialkot and Lahore, labour inspectors, and a media group in Lahore. The participants said child domestic labourers also faced violence and abuse, so these issues should also be focused. They said child labour was not related to only poverty since there were evidences of high literacy rate in poor districts.
