SIALKOT - The World Bank has offered $100 million funding for the export industries of Sialkot to increase the international competitiveness of their products.

A WB delegation met with the local industrialists and pledged to provide full technical assistance and guidance to boom up the export industries of Sialkot. The WB officials visited SCCI and discussed the matters of mutual interest with acting SCCI President Muhammad Sarfraz Butt and other exporters.

Flanked by Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC) officials, Mr Justin Hill led the delegation. The SCCI sought WB help to explore international trade markets by broadening the existing export base. The delegates hailed the export culture of Sialkot and its marvelous socio-economic and human development by the business community on self-help basis.
