MIRPUR (AJK)-AJK leaders including elected representatives have praised the Pakistan government for holding the All Parties Conference in Islamabad to take the political leadership including opposition into confidence on the Kashmir situation and Indian aggression.

They praised the APC hosted by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to inform the leaders representing various political parties about the current situation of occupied Kashmir and the traditional hostile attitude of India towards Pakistan. AJK Lawmaker M Saeed said that the people of Jammu & Kashmir dwelling both sides of the Line of Control and rest of the world are highly thankful to the people of Pakistan for repeatedly and boldly supporting Kashmiris’ just struggle for the right to self-determination.

Referring to the continued hostile attitude and behavior of India during the last seven decades, he said that the All Parties Conference will prove to be the strong source to apprise the external world of Pakistan’s sincere approach for emergence of peace in South Asia through the early settlement of Kashmir issue.

The Kashmiri leader observed that the aggressive Indian posture and the ongoing tension following frequent violations of the Line of Control through the repeated unprovoked firing by the Indian troops was required to be exposed to the international community.

District Bar Association President Raja Zulfiqar Ahmed Advocate said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had already raised the Kashmir cause in forceful manner in the recent session of the United Nations General Assembly to reach the solution to Kashmir conflict in line with Kashmiris’ aspirations.

He demanded the inclusion of the people of Jammu & Kashmir in the dialogues between India and Pakistan – whenever it resumed, to ensure the resolution of the Kashmir issue according to their wishes.

District Central Traders Organisation President Ch Naeem said that Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan. He said that Kashmiris’ struggle for freedom is in fact the struggle for completion of Pakistan. He added that Pakistan is incomplete without its jugular vein.
