CHINIOT (INP) - At least six persons were killed and 30 others injured when a passenger bus rammed into a parked truck here on Monday. According to police, a Islamabad-bound speedy passenger bus coming from Multan rammed into a construction material laden truck parked by roadside in Bukharian area near Chiniot. As a result of the accident, six people including driver, cleaner and a father and son were killed on the spot while 30 others sustained injuries. The police and rescue workers reached the scene after the incident and took part in rescue activities. The injured were shifted to Allied Hospital Faisalabad where according to hospital sources condition of five injured persons was serious. Emergency was declared in Allied Hospital and staff on leave was called into deal with the situation.
