NEW YORK - Pakistan’s Aisamul Haq Qureshi and his Dutch partner Jean-Julien Rojer Wednesday reached in the doubles semi-final of the US Open Tennis Tournament.

The ninth seed Pak-Duth pair defeated the unseeded American pair of Ryan and Christian Harrison in straight sets 6-2, 6-3. The match was actually scheduled on Tuesday but the heavy rain forced the match suspended with Aisam-Rojer leading 6-2, 2-2. Resuming their match on Wednesday, Aisam and Rojer quickly disposed of the Americans to set up a semi-final clash either with unseeded French duo Julien Benneteau and Nicolas Mahut or second seeds Americans Bob and Mike Bryan.
