ISLAMABAD - Islamabad Police have achieved great success in foiling the nefarious designs of mischievous elements and its personnel are sacrificing their lives to protect the lives and property of the citizens, Islamabad Police chief Inspector General of Police Bani Amin Khan while talking to a 25-memebr delegation of probationary officers of Pakistan Provincial Services Academy Peshawar.

Officials of Islamabad Police including AIG (Establishment) Sultan Azam Temuri, Asistant Inspector General  (Operations) Tahir Alam Khan, AIG (General) Khalid Khan Khatak were also present on the occasion.

The IGP said that Islamabad police have rendered many sacrifices in the war against terrorism and its personnel averted many threats with courage and even sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.

“We are proud of martyrs of Islamabad police who have written golden chapter with their blood and ensured protection to the lives and property of the citizens,” he added.

The Inspector General of Police also told the delegation in detail about the various wings of Islamabad police including Operations Division, Security Division, Logistic Division and Traffic Division.

They were also briefed about the functioning of each wing in detail and were told that Islamabad Traffic Police have won laurels from public in s short span of time.

 It also issues driving license of international standard after going through the process of tests and medical fitness while FM radio 92.4 is also introduced to broadcast various programs regarding traffic rules.

The members of visiting delegation showed their keen interest in the affairs of Islamabad police and raised several questions about the working of the force.

They appreciated the working of Islamabad Police as well as sacrifices of its personnel in the line of duty.
