Chairman Senate, Syed Nayyar Hussain Bokhari Thursday hosted a luncheon reception at the Parliament House for the journalist community in a bid to enhance coordination between the Parliament and the media. The reception was attended by Leader of the House in Senate Jahangir  Badar, Secretary Senate Iftikharullah Babar, a huge number of journalists including office bearers of the Parliamentary Reporters Association, parliamentarians and senior officers of the Senate Secretariat. Chairman Senate thanked the newsmen for attending the reception and commented that such interactions would help strengthen coordination between the Parliament and media as both had been striving for strong democracy in the country.
