KOT RADHA KISHAN - Three motorcyclists shot dead a nine-year-old boy and injured six kiln workers at Rasoolpura in the limits of Kasur Saddr Police here the other day. According to police, Muhammad Yasin with his family was having a lunch at a kiln when Tanveer alias Tanveeri involved in several cases with his two accomplices reached there. He opened indiscriminate fire on Yasin and other workers. As a result, nine-year-old Ali Raza, son of Yasin, was killed while six workers including Ahmad Raza, Ghulam Nabi, Niamat Ali and Fazal Karim, were injured. They were shifted to DHQ Hospital.  After the incident, kiln workers and their families staged a demonstration at steel Bagh Chowk and blocked Lahore-Kasur Road. They demanded immediate arrest of the culprits. Later, on the assurance of the police officers the protesters dispersed. The motive behined the incident said to be that the accused were suspicious that kiln workers had informed the police about their criminal activities. TWO KILLED IN ROAD MISHAP: Two people including a woman were killed and six others injured when a passenger bus overturned near Pattoki by-pass. As per detail, the ill-fated bus was coming from Lahore to Fort Abbas when it overturned in a bid to save a woman and her children, who were crossing a road. As a result, woman Saira Bibi was crushed to death while here children remained unhurt. In the accident a passenger Muhammad Sharif was killed and six others sustained injuries who were taken to the THQ Pattoki. The Police have registered a case. Meanwhile, a speeding bus crushed to death a man at village Parnawan in the limits of the Phoolnagar Police. Muhammad Ahsan was crossing the road when a speeding bus crushed him to death. The police have registered a case with no arrest.
