Shahbaz ready to visit Nine Zero



LONDON – Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif said on Wednesday that the meeting between the MQM and PML-N is a step in the right direction and he was ready to visit MQM headquarters Nine Zero for further talks.
Talking to a private TV channel, he criticised President Asif Ali Zardari and said that the Federal government had only given corruption and despair to people during its over four years rule.
Leaders from PML-N and MQM met at the Punjab House in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Shahbaz further said the PPP government gave nothing to the country except corruption, unemployment, lawlessness and loadshedding.
He said that PPP is not sincere in holding Local Bodies elections but it is a political stunt.
Regarding the statement of Imran Khan that understanding exists between PPP and PML-N, he said that it is an allegation and nothing can be said about it except laughing over it.
He said that the entire world knows that which party and its leadership has exposed the ‘corruption and plunder’ of PPP and who are the new entrants in the field of politics and secretly get support of PPP for public meetings.
Shahbaz Sharif said that the warm welcome accorded by the workers of PML-N and overseas Pakistanis in London, has proved that their hearts beat together with PML-N.
Replying to a question about the alliance of MQM and PML-N, he said that a meeting has been held in this regard which would be helpful in setting the direction right.
He said that we can also go to 90 whereas our doors are open for MQM.
Shahbaz further said that there is worst loadshedding in Pakistan and Punjab province is especially targeted in this regard.
He said that peaceful protest against loadshedding is the right of the people and he has always personally appealed to the masses to protest peacefully and avoid any damage to the public property.
He said that Ali Baba and 40 Thieves have ruined the country and billions of rupees of Pakistan have been plundered.
Shahbaz said that he has set up a tent office as a protest against loadshedding to express solidarity with the people.
He said that when dengue attacked Punjab, the experts were of the view that this is the biggest epidemic but with the grace of Allah Almighty, the government has controlled this menace.
