WAZIRABAD – Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Sohail Akhtar said that women can also play a vital role to fight dengue. Cleanliness and preventive measures are the best weapons against any disease. Dengue is a collective problem. He was addressing an anti dengue seminar held under the auspices of TMA here at Wazirabad.Mr Sohail Akhtar stated that the natural calamity is a test of human being. “People should not get afraid of dengue. Cleanliness and preventive measures is the simple way to face the menace. Parents should take steps for safety of their kids and keep clean their houses and environment. Women can motivate their members of family to fight dengue,” he added.  He further said that dengue fever and other epidemic diseases are mass problems and cannot be defeated without the participation of community.  The governmental departments, district administration and TMA must move and prepare comprehensive plans to overcome dengue menace, he added.
