THE world’s first zombie presidential candidate has seemingly joined the race for office in the US. Mr A Zombie and his wife Patty Morgan-Zombie visited Charlotte, the city hosting the Democratic National Convention, to “highlight the plight of the zombie community”.The zombie couple is part of a stunt by American network AMC to get their TV series The Walking Dead on the Dish Network which dropped the show after a contract dispute. “My husband is running for president, because he could have taken a certain issue lying down, well, because he was already lying down, but he decided to stand up and pledge to fight for equal viewing opportunities for all,” Ms Morgan-Zombie said. She added her husband was working tirelessly to improve the lives of his fellow zombies and get them more jobs. “He has vowed to increase the workforce for every zombie out there,” she said. –MO
