ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to cancel registration of bogus cricket clubs after completing process of scrutiny of clubs that fall under the umbrella of Rawalpindi District Cricket Association (RDCA). The board has also hinted about holding elections in Rawalpindi Regional Cricket Association and RDCA. Sources said that scrutiny committee under supervision of Jalil Khan has submitted its report to the PCB and strongly recommended the cancellation of bogus clubs. "Some cricket clubs did not produce even 11 players during scrutiny process." Former member PCB governing board Maj (R) Naeem Akhtar Gilani has been actively involved for elections of the association. "Gilani is in contact with various clubs so that people having good repute would be elected", sources said. –Staff Reporter
