6-member UN team arrives today to probe BB's murder

ISLAMABAD (Online) - A 6-member UN team consisting of technical experts would reach Islamabad today (Tuesday) to investigate the assassination of former prime minister Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. According to media reports, the UN investigation team during its three-day stay in Pakistan would hold meetings with high officials of different ministries, while it inspection of the site where Benazir Bhutto was assassinated is also a part of the programme. The team would submit its Assessment Report to the Commission on April 10 after its return to New York. Meanwhile, the federal government has directed IG Islamabad Syed Qalb-e-Abbas, Rawalpindi police and other institutions to ensure foolproof security for the UN team.
