Pakistan crash to second successive defeat in Azlan Shah Cup

LAHORE - Pakistan hockey team's miserable run continued in the Azlan Shah Cup in Malaysia as they crashed to a 3-2 against New Zealand on Monday. This is Pakistan's second defeat in a row in as many matches. According to the information received from Malaysia, Pakistan team was leading by 2-1 by the end of the first half. Pakistan got three penalty corners in the first half, on which Muhammad Imran succeeded to convert two goals in 7th and 23rd minute. Pariesh Bhana from New Zealand scored the first goal in 6th minute, Neik Heg scored the second goal in 43rd minute and Dein Couzins scored the third goal in 67th minute on penalty stroke. Pakistan will play their third match against Egypt after two days rest on April 9. The match will be played at 4pm (PST).
