2 Pakistanis trying to rescue couple killed in Greece

ATHENS – Two Pakistani migrants were killed by a train outside Athens on Friday when they were trying to rescue an elderly couple stuck on the tracks, the semi state Athens News Agency said.
A third Pakistani migrant was injured and taken to hospital, ANA said. The elderly couple was also killed in the incident.
Investigators believe the Pakistanis may have been trying to rescue the stranded couple when the train running from Thessaloniki to Athens crashed into them, the agency said.
The accident occurred just after midday near the semi-rural town of Kryoneri, some 24 kilometres from the capital.
The illegal forcing of train crossings is a regular source of rail accidents in Greece.
