KARACHI : Gold price surged by Rs 343 to Rs 48,514 per 10 grams in the local market Friday as its international price improved to $ 1,630 an ounce, market sources said. According to Karachi Sarafa Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also increased by Rs 400 at Rs 56,600. Silver closed higher at Rs 908.57 per 10 grams.
