LAHORE – A 28-year-old man was gunned down and two others sustained multiple bullet injuries during the cross-fire between two rival groups over old enmity in Shafiqabad police area on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Heera. An eyewitness said that one group led by Heera had been running old enmity with other group led by two real brothers Umar and Abid since long. Both the groups had scuffled over the dispute several times in the past.
On the day of incident, they opened indiscriminate fire over each other in front of the Golden Bakery resultantly a bullet pierced into the head of Heera, who died instantly. The police concerned, however, have shifted the injured men Abid and Umar to a local hospital where their condition was also told critical till filing of this report. No case was registered against anyone without any arrest so far. Further investigations are underway.
