ISLAMABAD  - President PML-Q, Ch Shujaat Hussain and Secretary General Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed have asked the government to call a judicial inquiry into the recent killings in Gilgit. Stressing upon the government to form a judicial commission, both the leaders of PML-Q, have said that miscreants involved in breaching law and order must be brought to justice. They also urged the people of Gilgit-Baltistan to assure peace and cooperate with one another to save Muslim unity.Meanwhile Additional Secretary General of PML-Q, Bashir Ahmad Khan, who is also a minister in Gilgit-Baltistan, condemned these killings and alleged that foreign hand was involve in this recent spate of killings. He urged the religious scholars to play their role in bringing peace and stability in the area.He said that law and order situation in Gilgit was not satisfied and if the federal Government did not solve this issue on priority then the situation might further deteriorate. He said it was a conspiracy that would be failed with the unity of Gilgit-Baltistan’s people.
