SARGODHA - The traders protested against the raid conducted by the CIA police on the residences of two members of Anjuman-e-Sarafa Bazaar here.The police personnel entered the house by climbing ladders and detained both traders. The traders association of gold market condemned the incident and observed strike against the police action. They staged demonstration and closed their shops they shouted slogans against the police. Sarafa Association President Malik Muhammad Hussain and General Secretary Abdul Jabbar said that the police disgraced the traders’ fraternity. The office-bearers of Sarafa Association said in their ultimatum that if the apprehended traders were not released then they would stage protests across the district. ROAD PROJECT APPROVED: The District Officer Roads has ordered the work tenders for early completion of a Rs50 million roads development project. The project will be completed under the supervision of EDO Works and Services and District Officer Roads.  The Works and Services Department sources revealed that the pressure by some elements for the cancellation of tenders was dropped and the work tenders had been approved. The sources said that the construction would be initiated after the completion of requisite file work. Meanwhile the social civic and agrarian circles appreciated the approval of the construction of roads project and said that it would facilitate the masses and bring convenience and prosperity.
