At least two persons were killed and 21 others injured when a bus carrying devotees turned turtle here in Dear Ghazi Khan on Saturday.
According to police, a bus carrying devotees from Sakhi Sarwar to Vehari got out of control while overtaking a truck at Multan Road near Ghazi Ghaat and overturned after it hit an electric pole by roadside. As a result of accident two persons were killed on the spot while 21 others sustained injuries. The police and rescue teams reached the scene of accident and shifted the injured to District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ) Dera Ghazi Khan where according to hospital sources condition of seven injured persons was serious.
