LAHORE - Pakistan Cricket Board Chiarman Zaka Ashraf has said that visit of the British Universities Charity XI shows Pakistan is a safe country. Talking to the reporters during the PCB U-19 XI and British Universities Charity XI here at the Gaddafi Stadium on Friday.

Zaka Ashraf said: “British Universities team tour to Pakistan is a message to world that Pakistan is a safe country and people are crazy about cricket and want to see international cricket back to the country for which we are striving hard and the time is not so far away when Pakistanis will witness international cricket at their home grounds.” He said that he was hopeful that the ongoing Universities Charity XI tour would be the first of many by overseas teams to Pakistan.  "The visit by the University side sends out a strong message to the world and I hope that the visit from the Universities team is the start of more tours to Pakistan from overseas teams," the PCB chief concluded.
