Usman eyes wild-card entry for London Games



KARACHI  - Record breaker Usman Sadiq of Sindh said on Friday that he was looking forward to represent Pakistan in London Olympics after setting a new mark in trap event of National Shooting Championship in Jhelum.
Veteran shooter Usman, who had represented Pakistan in World, Commonwealth and Asian Games mustered 119/125 to better the record of 117/125 set by Cdr. Noor in 2010. Besides winning the individual gold, Sindh's trio of Usman Sadiq, Dr Naveed Shah and Shakeel Ilyas gave Sindh a team gold-their fourth in the event. Earlier double Olympian Khurram Inam scooped-up double gold in the skeet event of the championship. Overall Sindh secured four gold, one silver and one bronze in the nationals.
