RAWALPINDI - A trial court on Saturday issued fresh summons to five prosecution witnesses in Mumbai attack case.Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi Number 1 Special Judge Chaudhry Habib-ur-Rehman summoned five prosecution witnesses to appear before the court to get recorded their statements in Mumbai attack case and deferred the hearing till 13 April 2013. On the last date of hearing, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Special Public Prosecutor Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ali told the court that India has yet not responded to the letter of Pakistan which she wrote to Indian government about revisit of Judicial Commission to record the statements people related to Mumbai attack case.The defense lawyer Riaz Akram Cheema Advocate, in counter arguments, apprised the court that prosecution intentionally using delaying tactics to prolong the case. The court should take notice of it, he added.ATC No 1 Judge Chaudhry Habib-ur-Rehman later postponed the hearing till April 6, 2013 besides summoning 5 prosecutions witnesses for penning in their statements. However, the prosecution witnesses did not appear before the court.
