BUREWALA - Vehari DPO Sadiq Ali Dogar has stressed that police officials are public servants and it is their bounden duty to provide hassle-free justice to people. He warned that if any police official found backing criminal or delaying dispensation of justice, he would be shown the door. The DPO declared that his doors were always open for the justice-seeker and he would spare no effort to mitigate sufferings of the public.

DPO Sadiq Dogar expressed the views while addressing an open court at Fateh Shah Police Station here the other day.

On the occasion, he immediately suspended ASI Liaqat Sardar Gujjar of the City Police on the complaint of one Mohammad Din, a resident of Chak 435/EB, accusing him entering his house while under the influence of liquor. Another ASI Shaukat Ali of the Machiwal Police was also suspended on the compliant of Abdul Ghaffar, a resident of Chak 52/KB for allegedly receiving Rs14,000 bribe for registration a buffalo theft case.

The DPO also heard complaints of people from different villages and issued on the spot orders. He also inspected Fateh Shah Police Station offices, record room and lock-ups and held a meeting with investigation officers.

Burewala ASP Asif Ahmed Bughio, Anjuman-e-Tajraan President Mohammad Jameel Bhatti, General Secretary Muhammad Sagheer Ramay, Fateh Shah Police SHO Haji Muhammad Bukhsh, Model Town Police SHO Ch Haq Nawaz and other SHOs were also present on the occasion.
