ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) will participate in the exhibition to be organized by Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) in April, to give inspiration and motivation to students through informal education.

This was decided during the meeting held here at PSF to review the performance of participation of PSF in Punjab Youth Festival held recently at Expo Centre,Lahore. PMNH DG Dr Muhammad Khan Leghari Ministry of S&T (MoST) Joint Scientific Advisor (IL) Mr Muhammad Amjad, PSF Principal Scientific Officer Dr. Naushaba Atta and other senior officers from MoST, PSF, PMNH and PASTIC. PASTIC DG Dr. Muhammad Akram Sheikh congratulated Ministry of Science and Technology, PSF, Pakistan Museum of Natural History(PMNH) and PASTIC on success of the event. He said it was one of the unique and most successful activity organized by MoST and PSF. MoST had designated PSF as focal point for S&T organizations regarding arrangements of stalls to showcase strength of S&T organizations during the Punjab Youth Festival. PSF, PMNH, PASTIC and other R&D organizations set up their stalls to highlight their achievements. Speaking on the occasion Dr. Ibupoto congratulated MoST, PSF,

PMNH and PASTC team for successful organization of the event which attracted crowds of students.

The Chairman said participation in the Festival was part of the

Foundation’s Science Popularization Programme. Encouraging the organizing team, he said intention to do something and methodology to materialize it is the main thing.

He said he was pleased to see the crowds of people and their interest in stalls due to the hard efforts of the organizing team to make it a success story. He thanked MoST for support and encouragement to organize such events.

Event’s Focal Person Mr Abdul Rauf shared certain hardships in setting up the stalls and the team’s day and night work to accomplish the job in an excellent manner.
