Sialkot gets Rs850m for cleanliness

SIALKOT -: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has released a special grant of Rs850 million for the recently established “Sialkot Waste Management Company” to help it purchase advanced machinery.
MPA Manshaullah Butt disclosed this while addressing a meeting of the Board of Directors of Sialkot Waste Management Company held at Sialkot DCO office. Sialkot DCO Iftikhar Ali Sahi, EDO (Finance) Sialkot Nadeem Sarwar, DOC Malik Abid Hussain Awan, TMO Muhammad Zafar Qureshi and Director of Sialkot Waste Management Company Raza Azhar Ali were also present.
About 100 kilometre inter-city roads would be cleaned mechanically and the garbage would be picked up by special teams while advance dust bins would be placed on all the roads, streets and bazaars of the city, added the MPA.
