Islamabad - Islamabad police have arrested 11 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered mobile phones, laptop, weapons and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Monday.

According to details, Bhara Kahu police arrested an accused Hassan Khan and recovered one 30-bore pistol along with ammunition from him while another person Fazal was nabbed for his involvement in another case. Margalla police arrested one Shams for his alleged involvement in a theft case.  Ramna police recovered laptop and mobile phones from the possession of an accused Saddique.

The police also arrested four accused Rustam, Waqas Aslam, Tufail and Waqas for their alleged involvement in a dacoity. Koral police arrested two car thieves Adeel and Saad Imtaiz while Shalimar police arrested Fazal Abbas and recovered one 9MM pistol along with ammunition from him.

Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway.

Furthermore, Islamabad police have arrested 37 suspects during a search operation in various areas of the city. IGP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan directed all SDPOs and SHOs to enhance patrolling as well as checking in various areas of the city and conduct search operation at slums. Following his directions, sub-divisional police officers headed the search operation in the areas of police stations Golra, Industrial Area and Secretariat. They succeeded to nab 37 suspects who are being investigated further.
