MULTAN - Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf president Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has said that Imran Khan’s decision to return to assemblies is inappropriate. Talking to the journalists here at his residence on Monday, he added that even kings did not make decisions like Imran Khan during their era. “Parliament is not anyone’s home where one enters and quits according to his will,” he maintained.

He said that the speaker National Assembly needed to play his role in this situation and stop those from coming to the assembly who had resigned. He said that he had anticipated seven months ago that the PTI would go back to the assemblies. He was of the opinion that Imran Khan and his other members of parliament had tendered resignations from the assemblies in light of constitution. To a query on Karachi by-election, he said that peace should prevail in Karachi.
