ISLAMABAD : The Supreme Court has sought reply from the KP government in the case of two missing persons including Ibrahim and Hidayat Shah and adjourned the hearing of the case indefinitely. A 3-member bench of the SC headed by Justice Jawwad S Khawaja took up the case for hearing on Monday. During the course of hearing of the case, Asma Jahangir advocate was not present in the court nor had the KP Advocate General appeared before it.

The court remarked "as Asma Jahangir has requested for adjournment of the hearing of the case; therefore, the KP authorities are directed verbally to ascertain from detention centres if these missing persons are there or otherwise. Report in this respect to be furnished, the court ordered.
