China's support in various fields was vital especially to overcome energy crisis and upcoming visit of Chinese President would further strengten bilateral ties.
This was stated by Chairman, Board of Investment Dr. Miftah Ismail talking to Radio Pakistan. He said Solar Power, Wind Power, Coal Power, Gwadar Port and Pak-China Economic Corridor projects would be signed during his visit. He said that entire nation welcomes the visit of China's President. Analyst Dr. Pervaiz Iqbal Cheema said China was time tested friend of Pakistan and this visit has vital importance.
Economist Dr. Shahid Hassan Siddiqui said, "Pak-China Economic Corridor is no more a dream rather it is a reality now. Pakistan could improve its economy with the support of China. Coal should be utilized in various projects".
He said Pak-china Economic Corridor would bring economic revolution in the country. Analyst Dr. Rasheed Ahmed Khan also said that upcoming visit of Chinese President would be very fruitful as many mega project agreements would be signed.
He said Pakistan and Sri Lanka have historic and friendly relations.
Pakistan has supported the government of Sri Lanka against Tamil Nado rebels in the past, he added.
He said Sri Lanka has vital geographical importance and China has invested above 1.5 billion dollars at Sri Lankan port. Pakistan and Sri Lanka should focus on to improve bilateral relations. Sri Lanka has also been taking interest to improve its relations with China, he added. Analyst Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal said: "Visit of Sri Lankan President to Pakistan is good news. Pakistan and Sri Lanka will work jointly for peace and prosperity of the region. "
