PESHAWAR - The KP Chief Minister has directed concerned authorities to include a proper scheme for the establishment of newspaper market at districts throughout the province in next ADP to facilitate newspaper hawkers.

The Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pervez Khattak was addressing the oath taking ceremony of the newly elected cabinet of newspapers hawkers union Nowshera at CM House Peshawar on Wednesday.

Besides Special Assistant to CM for Information and Higher Education Mushtaq Ghani, Director Information Shoaibuddin, Additional Deputy Commissioner Nowshera, Fazal Hussain, Centeral Secretary General Newspapers’ hawkers’ Pakistan, Tikka Khan and Mushtaq Paracha were also present on the occasion.

Khattak formally administered oath to the newly elected office bearers of Newspapers Hawkers Union Nowshera.

The new cabinet included Presidents Sher Zaman, Senior Vice President Dar-ul-Aman, Vice President Mohammand Imtiaz, General Secretary Mohammad Akhtar, Chairman Majlis-e-Aamla Ajmer Khan.

General Secretary Muhammad Akhter presented demands of newspapers hawkers. Central General Secretary Tikka Khan also addressed the ceremony and termed administering to the newly elected cabinet by the CM as great honour for the newspaper hawkers.

He also admitted that PTI was striving for positive change.

Addressing the ceremony, Khattak said that PTI was striving to provide essential facilities of life to the poor masses.

He said that utilization of resources for the welfare of the common man was the motto of PTI-led provincial government.

Regretting inequality in wages, he said that unfortunately the injustice wage system in Pakistan was badly exploiting the poor people.

He continued that the present provincial government was striving to eliminate this difference and that is why a big chunk of the provincial budget was spent on increasing of salaries.

Responding to the demands of the hawkers for acquisition of land for the establishment newspaper market, the CM directed the concerned authorities for preparation of scheme for the establishment of newspapers market at all districts to be reflected in ADP 2016-17.
