Lahore- Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab President Ijaz Chaudhry has said that ‘Azadi March’ against alleged rigging in last year general elections would begin from Lahore on the independence day.
Talking to newsmen here Thursday, Ijaz Chaudhry said that the party workers from 22 districts would gather at Faisal Chowk at 10 AM on August 14 for the anti-government march. He said that staging protest demonstrations, chanting slogans and delivering speeches are basic rights of each citizen of the country. The PTI’s provincial president further said that police forcefully removed the party’s camps established in 11 districts, adding that the camps would be set up again.
