Case against Qadri political victimisation: Zardari

ISLAMABAD - Former president and PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari continued his consultations with political forces for the third second consecutive day on Wednesday, as he approached Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahir Ul Qadri from London and exchanged views with him on the current political situation in the country.
Zardari in his telephonic conversation with Qadri condemned the registration of a case against him. "Both of them agreed that democracy should continue for the betterment of the nation," said Spokesperson Senator Farhatullah Babar.
The former President said that in last government there was not a single political prisoner nor was any case registered against any political leader and that's what they called democracy.
Zardari said PPP has never supported political victimisation and it will not allow any one to victimise political opponents nor permit registration of cases against political leaderships.
