BIRMINGHAM: An inspiration to all, Pakistan youngest Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai met her Pakistan cricket heroes when she attended 3rd test match between Pakistan and England.

The International-famed Pakistani human rights advocate for women and education was invited as a guest of honour and was formally received by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shahryar Khan, Chairman of Warwickshire Norman Gascoigne and Pakistan High Commissioner to UK Syed Ibne Abbas.

She gave morale boost to the Pakistani players at a crucial time of the Test match.

After the day’s play, Malala said she was delighted to attend the Test. Hoping for Pakistan’s victory in the match, she wished good luck to both sides.

Malala has local connections in Birmingham.

She has been a pupil at the all-girls' Edgbaston High School in Birmingham and has received intensive treatment at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham after the assassination attack on her in Pakistan.
