KAMALIA-Punjab Parliamentary Secretary for Revenue Nazia Raheel has said that all the political parties and the common public should work for the betterment of the country by setting aside our religious, political and social differences.
"We must forget our disputes and dedicate ourselves to improving the country. Our honour, respect and dignity are only because of Pakistan and we will have to overcome many challenges to join the developed nations," she said while addressing a ceremony held for preparation of the Independence Day.
She added, "There is no hesitation in acknowledging the fact that a many countries that got independence after us have left us behind in development and infrastructure. We are far behind them.
From year 1947 to now, wars and terrorism have hindered our improvement but now soldiers of our Pak Army, brave personnel of our police and 20 billion people will together rid this country of terrorists and bring peace and prosperity to this nation."
