SWAT - At least seven persons including private secretary of an MPA and a law enforcer were killed and a prayer leader was abducted in different incidents on Saturday. According to details, some unknown militants killed Matiullah, private secretary of ANP's MPA Syed Jafar Shah. Matiullah was a resident of Fatehpur. The killers chopped his both hands before beheading him and his dead body was recovered from a village of Swat. In other incident, some unknown armed motorists fired indiscriminately at Shah Dara adda that resulted in the killing of two shopkeepers, Rozi Khan and Usman Ghani. The miscreants escaped after committing the crime. Moreover, Deputy Manager State Life Insurance Company, Swat chapter, Muhammad Irshad was found dead in his home in Makan Bagh and a dweller of Minglor Gulzada was killed by some unknown persons. Similarly, security forces killed a person when he violated curfew hours in Matta. The security forces have imposed curfew again in the area, however, according to ISPR, curfew has been lifted from all the four tehsils of Swat. In another act of violence, a security man, identified as Yaseen, was killed when some unknown armed men attacked a check post at Sambat, Matta. Meanwhile, the security forces continued search operation in Khwazakhela and Matta. The suspected militants hideouts were shelled and targeted by Cobra helicopters that resulted injuring several people, including women in Tangor and Angar areas. On the other hand, some unidentified men abducted Saeed Khan, a prayer leader of Jamia Mosque Madain. No one has taken the responsibility for the kidnapping so far.
