RAWALPINDI - A woman was kidnapped from her house on Sunday in the vicinity of Police Station Chontra. According to details, Muhammad Ashraf informed police that Babar, Yasin and 'S Bibi kidnapped his daughter-in-law 'Y from his house in his absence. Police have registered the case against the accused. Meanwhile, some unidentified car lifters have stolen three vehicles from various areas of the city on Sunday. According to details, Muhammad Ilyas, resident of Allahabad lodged an FIR with Police Station Westridge that his motorcycle (RIM-6687) was stolen by some unidentified thieves outside his house. Arslan Ahmed of Satellite Town informed Police Station Sadiqabad that his Suzuki Mehran car (RIY-113) was stolen from parking of Satellite Plaza. Muhammad Nadeem, a resident of Shah Khalid Colony, lodged an FIR with Police Station Sadiqabad that his Suzuki Mehran car (RLC-1070) was taken by Javed Iqbal on rent and did not return. Police, while taking action on the complaints, registered separate cases and started investigation. In jurisdiction of Police Station Airport, outlaws snatched purse of a reporter of a national daily Marrayam Siddiqa on gunpoint. The victim appeared before the Police Station Airport officials and complained that two unidentified motorcyclists snatched her purse at gunpoint containing Rs12,000 mobile phone and Press Club Card, NIC and other valuables documents. She said that she was on her way to her home when suddenly two men came and snatched her purse. Police have registered case against the robbers.
