Writing on the wall

Much has been said and written about the issue of electricity yet no one seems to take any responsibility for the ever increasing loadshedding. A large number of households in the city are plunged into complete darkness for as long as 8 hours per day, the government issued an order for load shedding to be withheld for the three days of Eid, but was that enough? During the pre-election era, every party was promising a quick solution to loadshedding and as soon as they gained office they realized that it would take two to three years.
Now several months down the road, the situation has not improved at all. The question remains – how long is the public expected to rant over the issue of load shedding? Will the light ever see the light and would Karachites ever break free from the clutches of the dreadful loadshedding?
