LAHORE - A 38-year-old trader was shot dead by unidentified motorcyclists in Nishtar Colony area, police sources said Saturday.
Rashid Khan Mayo, a resident of Ittehad Town, was on his way home when two unidentified men stopped him near Kumahan Pind. They shot the father of ten in the head and fled instantly. He died on-the-spot.
The police later reached the crime scene and moved the body to the morgue for autopsy. The complainant, Munir Khan, told the police that his brother Rashid was running a shop of home appliances and motorbikes on installments in Nishtar Town.
On the day of incident, he was coming back after collecting installments when he was murdered by unidentified men. Police investigators said that the deceased had three wives and 10 children and all the family members were residing together in the same house.
Police have registered the murder case and are investigating with no arrest made yet.
