SUKKUR - Commissioner Sukkur Muhammad Abbas Baloch has said that there are lessons for the entire mankind in the life of Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

“All problems of the society can be solved by acting upon the teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAW),” he added. This was stated by him while presiding over a meeting on Eid Milad-un-Nabi here at the DC Office on Tuesday.

The officers and different ulemas throughout the division attended the meeting.

The commissioner said, “We want to give the world a message that all the Muslims are united and our leaders' vision and thinking is clear and positive and for that, our new generation has to follow the Seerat of Holy Prophet.”

He directed the Deputy Commissioners (DCs) of Khairpur, Sukkur and Ghotki districts to ensure arrangements regarding cleanliness and lighting on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) in their respective areas.

He further said that Razakars (volunteers) of Civil Defence will also be provided training by police, and their services may also be utilised for the security of processions.

He also directed to make functional all the district and divisional control rooms and peace committees on the occasion of 12th Rabi-ul-Awal.

On this occasion, DIG Police Sukkur Zone Feroze Shah assured of strict security arrangements so that no one would be able to take law into his hands. “All the routes of processions will be cleared,” he said, and added, “All the sign boards will also be removed so that rallies of Eidul Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) do not face any hindrance.”

In this regard, the ulemas also ensured their cooperation to the administration.
