PESHAWAR - Holding both 'Blackwater and RAW responsible for the target killings in Karachi, Jamaat-e-Islami Naib Amir, Sirajul Haq on Saturday asked Sindh government to quit as it had completely failed to protect the lives, properties and honour of the people of Karachi. Addressing a news conference here at Markaz-i-Islami, Sirajul Haq said like Kashmir is backbone of Pakistan; similarly, Karachi plays the role of backbone in the countrys economy. He added that about 45 people had been targeted in Karachi for the last five days, adding that most of the Pukhtoons were brutally killed. He said the poor labourers, transporters, daily wagers and cart-pushers are being targeted. Siraj said JI is a responsible democratic party and wants PPP to complete its tenure. He, however, alleged the Government has completely failed to maintain law and order situation, control price-hike and increasing unemployment in the country. He also urged the lawmakers of both the Houses to play their positive role in this regard. The JI leader also pledged to extend all kinds of support to the affectees of Karachi mayhem.
