RAHIM YAR KHAN - Around 90 students of the Shaikh Zayed Medical College have not received laptops the Punjab government distributed to bright and talented students of the district, said Young Doctors’ Association President Dr Shabbir Warraich on Monday.

He said the Punjab chief minister, during his visit to Rahim Yar Khan on Wednesday, distributed laptops to shining and talented students of the district, but unfortunately after his departure, 90 students of the Sheikh Zayed Hospital did not get laptops.

He said all these students were in the list of 832 students entitled to receive laptops. He said the administration told them that “you will receive laptops in the month of March”.

Students of the college said if we protest in this regard, then there is a possibility that we do not receive laptops in March. So, we will wait”. Parents of these students expressed apprehensions over the matter.
