LAHORE - Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) secretary Col (r) Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi has said the federation always believes in holding of fair and impartial elections at every level whether at a local/domestic level or international level. “The PFF has always given unconditional support to those FIFA or AFC candidates who possess a concrete vision for the development of football in the world and specifically in Pakistan. We have very close and friendly ties with AFC member associations and the governing authorities.” Lodhi rebutted a news item/article with an incorrect impression that PFF was involved in lobbying ahead of AFC elections scheduled in May. He said: “The PFF reiterates that it will support any candidate who will be keen to promote football in Asia including Pakistan.”
