LAHORE - The city received light rain yesterday with expert predicting partly cloudy weather and more rains today. The showers, though light, caused decrease in temperature during the day and at night, bringing mild chill in the weather.
According to the experts, westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist till Sunday.
Parachinar remained the coldest place in the country where mercury dropped 05 degree Celsius below the freezing point. Minimum temperature in Gupis and Kalat was recorded -04C, Dir, Chitral, Skardu and Astore -02C, Quetta, Gilgit and Rawalakot -01C.
Maximum and minimum temperature in Lahore was recorded 22C and 09C respectively. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded 44 per cent.
