Education activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai requested the top civilian and military brass of Pakistan to take notice of the demands of people of FATA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who have been staging a sit-in in Islamabad since many days.

"I express my solidarity with the ongoing peaceful “IslamabadSitin," said Malala on her twitter account. She has also appealed to "the Prime Minister, the Chief of Army Staff and the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take immediate notice of the genuine demands of the people of FATA and Pukhtoonkhwa."

Hundreds of tribal men from Waziristan have vowed to continue their protest until the arrest of fugitive police official Rao Anwar allegedly involved in the fake encounter killing of Naqeebullah Mehsud. The ‘Qomi Pakhtun Jirga’ has denied any possible deal of blood money against the murder of Naqeeb Mehsud announced ‘no compromise’ on the blood of the victim and demanded strict punishment for Rao Anwar according to the law.
