ISLAMABAD - Federal Minister for Defence, Ch Ahmad Mukhtar, has directed the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to expedite work on New Benazir Bhutto International Airport (BBIA) Islamabad so as to accomplish the project within the stipulated time. He gave these directions while chairing a meeting in Ministry of Defence to review the progress of NBBIA project on Thursday. Earlier, the Director General, CAA, gave a detailed presentation to the Minister highlighting the financial cost and various aspects of the project. The meeting emphasized the need to execute the project with in the given time frame i.e. 30th June 2013, with out compromising on the standard and quality of the work.
